Gospel Collection Preview 2023
The FREE Preview of The Gospel Collection from Homeschool Resource Co drops tomorrow so I thought I’d give you a quick little review of it today. It includes five Christ-centered freebies, but we all know that “free” does not always equal “worthy” of the paper our printer spits it out on {though, I will say that what HRC puts out is usually top-notch!} So, below you can see what’s included and decide for yourself. And then you’ll be prepped to grab it {or not} when it’s available tomorrow.

PRAYER JOURNALS FOR KIDS
As described by The Art Kit: “Rainbow and dinosaur prayer journals each include over 90 beautiful printable pages. Strengthen your child’s faith with these beautiful devotions.”
THE WOLFe PACK’S QUICK REVIEW
I love:
- the color palettes.
- the two styles (rainbows and dinosaurs.)
- the fact that the styles differ but the verses match so you can have two kids doing the same thing but express their different tastes.
- that prep is minimal…JUST PRINT!
- the variety of verses selected (32!)
- the different ways the child can journal in response to each verse {Illustrate, How Can I Apply This, I’m Grateful For, I Will Work On….}
I wish:
- the verses were printed in an easier to read font for younger learners in addition to the script version.
- there was more space to write on some of the journal areas for younger kids.
- there was a Table of Contents so parents could easily select verses.
- there was a variety of paper. Each set has the same graphics/images.
Is it worth getting, storing, printing and using this resource? Yes! Even if you just use a few pages of one of the styles, it would be well worth getting the free Gospel Collection Preview!

PSALM 19 SCRIPTURE CARDS
As described by Wonder-Filled Days: “Use these princess and knight-themed Scripture Memory Cards to help your child easily memorize Psalm 19. Includes: KJV, NKJV, and ESV.”
THE WOLFe PACK’S QUICK REVIEW
I love:
- how this teaches a LONG verse over the course of a series of beautiful cards.
- the water color images used.
- the variety of translations offered (3) and how they are in separate files for easy organization.
- the suggestions of other ideas of how to teach Bible memorization.
- the low-prep involved.
I wish:
- my son was young enough to use these. 🙁
- that the font was a little more kid-friendly to read.
Is it worth getting, storing, printing and using this resource? Oh my word, YES! I LOVE this! Grab the free Gospel Collection Preview now even if you ONLY use this single resource from it!

LET’S LEARN PATIENCE
As described by Home Faith Family: “Teach your child the virtue of patience with these 20+ pages of learning activities. Includes coloring pages, drawing activities, mazes, puzzles and more!”
THE WOLFe PACK’S QUICK REVIEW
I love:
- the concept! Little kids need to work on patience as often as possible!
- the cute farm theme.
- the definition of patience, broken down into smaller parts.
- the fun family game.
- the variety of activities.
- the “cheat sheet” for parents.
I wish:
- the tracing activity had lines and a more appropriate font for younger kids.
- that all of the activities had a more clear connection to being patient. Most of them do, but at least one of them does not and without the direct connection, it just looks like busy work.
Is it worth getting, storing, printing and using this resource? If you have tot, teen or husband (ha ha) who struggles with patience, then, YES, you would do well to grab the free Gospel Collection Preview and print out this 20 page resource.

BIBLE STUDY PLANNER
As described by Blessed Homeschool: “You’ll love using this printable to focus in your daily quiet time with
the Lord. Reflect on your reading each day and keep track of important
verses, prayers, and praises.”
THE WOLFe PACK’S QUICK REVIEW
I love:
- the fact that everything is open-ended to use how you feel led.
- it truly guides you to improve your Bible reading time in a a variety of gentle ways.
- so much! There are a lot of great features included but my favorite is probably the reading log check-off. Super simple, I know. But, I love it!
- the sermon notes too. Not all pastors provide them. Or if you attend virtually, these make a great option!
- the hymn study was a nice surprise too! Love it!
I wish:
- the second font used didn’t make my brain work so hard. I know it’s trendy to use a second uber-cute font for a few words here and there, but some of them are just too much for my brain. 🙁
Is it worth getting, storing, printing and using this resource? Absolutely! Even if you just use one or two pieces from this 40-page gem, the free Gospel Collection Preview is well worth the effort of snagging, storing and printing.

SIXTEEN NAMES OF GOD COLORING SHEETS
As described by InstaEncouragements: “These 16 names of God are in order as they are revealed to us in the
Bible. As we meditate on each name, we’ll see His character and nature build on the name before it.”
THE WOLFe PACK’S QUICK REVIEW
I love:
- the simplicity of the pages; perfect for teens and adults.
- the concept of how the names build on one another.
I wish:
- I had more context. Well, I guess I do…the Bible. 🙂 This resource and the concept it is based on intrigues me and I want to look into it more.
Is it worth getting, storing, printing and using this resource? Totally! I won’t lie. At first glance, I thought these were some pretty boring, standard coloring pages but then I realized there was a lot of thought behind the verses chosen and I LOVE the end result. So, YES, get the free Gospel Collection Preview and print out these 16 black and white pages. It will be well worth your effort, time and energy!
So, what’s the bottom line with this FREE Gospel Collection Preview?
You may not use ALL of the resources included but you will likely find at least a couple of items that will make it well worth the effort of “purchasing” it, storing it, downloading it and then printing parts of it.
OH! And…there just might be a bonus coupon inside that allows you to buy the full Gospel Collection early. Soooo…if, interested, head HERE and get the FREE Gospel Collection Preview Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (March 28-30) before these freebies are gone for good!
