Read on for a detailed REVIEW.

I honestly have no idea how I came upon this game. I suspect it was one of Amazon’s “suggestions” based on past purchases. But, no matter how I found it, I am glad I did! It’s a great game to work on spelling skills in an unusual and fun way!

In addition to reviewing the

FUN FACTOR

and the

EDUCATIONAL VALUE,

I will also include info on the

ORGANIZATIONAL COMPONENT,

and an

HOW TO WIN: Be the first to score 20 points by spelling words using a combination of new and previously placed tiles.

HOW TO PLAY IN ONE SENTENCE: Using some of either the start or end of what has already been spelled, add as many tiles from the center to spell a new word.

ORGANIZATIONAL COMPONENT: _ This game definitely has the feel of an old-school board game with its cardboard box, plastic tray, and gazillion pieces. The quality is certainly more than decent but if your home tends to lose things or leave them out to be stepped on, Full Circle may not last forever. ORGANIZATIONAL COMPONENT SCORE: 4/5 _

FUN FACTOR: Along with the “old-school board game feel” of the packaging comes an unusual level of “this does not feel like an educational game.” It really was fun to play with its slightly gimmicky approach and colorful style. Kids of all ages will likely enjoy this as an alternative way to work on spelling, but I’m not sure it’ll be the top choice for your teen’s next social event. FUN FACTOR SCORE: 5/5

EDUCATIONAL VALUE: This game is all about spelling so if you’ve got some kiddos who need spelling work, this game is a great idea. There are no rules about the length of the word and it would be very easy to stick to the basics. But, since part of the game is based on using endings/beginning of other words, it will also help push natural spellers into thinking outside the box. So, it’s a win for all levels of the spelling spectrum. EDUCATIONAL VALUE SCORE: 5/5

CLARITY LEVEL: The directions are simple, clear, and concise with little room for confusion. And, there is also a QR code you can scan to see the rules in action!  CLARITY LEVEL SCORE: 5/5

OVERALL SCORE: _   Full Circle is a great game to work on spelling skills in an unusual and fun way! OVERALL SCORE: 95% _
