As some of you know, I travel the homeschool convention circuit.
In 2023, I traveled to 16 conventions.
Yeah, that was lot. Truth be told, it was too much.
We’re cutting down that number for 2024.
I will go to only to 14. 🙂
I do it as part of my job as the Customer Connection Manager for Nicole the Math Lady.
It’s a ton of work, but I LOVE it.
I love it for several reasons.
Not the least of which is the fact that I get to meet thousands of homeschool moms like you.
- Moms just starting their homeschool journeys.
- Moms who have been homeschooling for a few years.
- Moms who have been at this for a decade or more.
- Even grandmas taking on the day-to-day task of educating their grandbabies.
- Also, wives who are prepping and planning for their dream babies in the future.
The only thing every woman at each convention has in common is homeschooling.
And the one thing that every mama who comes to hear us speak or visit us at our booth has in common is their desire to find the best math curriculum.
Unfortunately, there is no single best math curriculum.
There just isn’t.
But, there is a BEST CURRICULUM for your student.
But, choosing the right curriculum is hard.
There are so many math options, that is very hard to chose.
It really is.
I should know.
Ya see, I have personally used eight different homeschool math curricula.
Yep.
Eight.
By the time my one and only child was in Seventh Grade, we had tried:
- Math U See
- Christian Light Education
- Horizons
- Life of Fred
- Teaching Textbooks
- Learn Math Fast
- Masterbooks
And, in Eighth Grade, we finally landed on Saxon!
Under no circumstances do I suggest you take a similar hot mess of a math curriculum journey as mine. There are much easier {and less expensive} ways to find the right math fit.
