As a resource creator and homeschool blogger, I type a lot. And, I seem to type fast enough {47 WPM} for somebody who has never ever taken a typing class, let alone, tried to learn how to type correctly. But, I make a lot of mistakes which requires me to spend time proofing and fixing things before I can publish each piece of work.
So, when asked to review TypeDojo, I decided it would make for the perfect opportunity to try to learn how to type properly and hopefully increase my speed and accuracy.
I also decided to get my teenager on board as well. Being a typical teen boy, he can text quickly and manipulate his PS5 controller faster. He is very comfortable with any computer you put in front of him and does nearly all of his work via computer. But, he is probably not fast enough and certainly not as accurate as he should before he gets launched into the world.

According to The WOLFe Pack: Zip. Nada. Zilch. Absolutely nothing. TypeDojo does not cost anything. It is totally free! And, I don’t mean you get a free trial for just a week or two. And it’s not that the beginning levels are free but if you want to keep going, you need to upgrade. I mean that it’s 100% completely free!
BUT…there are ads on the site. And, you know how I feel about ads. They irritate me so much that I refuse to have them on my own site out of respect for you. BUT, sometimes ads can be worth the hassle. Like when they allow students and parents to access something life-changing for free. I don’t mean a free printable you may not ever use. I mean a free online resource that will improve an important life skill which will likely be used every day. Dodging ads was worth that for me.

After just a few lessons and games, my teen was able to improve his Words Per Minute by a huge margin and his accuracy by a large amount as well!
And, I was able to do the same too! Not quite as much improvement, but still quite a bit!
